Before making a right turn, what must you do?
- Signal and turn from the rightmost lane, yielding to pedestrians crossing
- Turn from the leftmost lane without signalling
- Signal only after you begin to turn
- Sound your horn before moving the steering wheel
💡 To turn right, signal well before the turn, move into the right lane, and yield to any pedestrians in the crosswalk.
Where should you position your vehicle to make a left turn from a two-way street?
- The far left lane, closest to the centre line or left-turning lane
- The rightmost lane, contrary to the turn
- On the shoulder
- Either lane as long as you signal
💡 For a left turn from a two-way street, move into the lane closest to the centre line (or the designated left-turn lane) and yield to oncoming traffic.
